Wedding bells to ring for Fergie?

Lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel are said to be preparing to tie the knot.

Duhamel's publicist made the engagement public but did not divulge any other info about the forthcoming wedding.

The proposal from the star of movie blockbuster Transformers comes after the actor told Best Life magazine they had bought a house together after having been together for three years, Canadian Press reported.

Stacy Ann Ferguson, MTV's female artist of the year appeared in an episode of US TV show Las Vegas, in which long-term boyfriend Duhamel stars as Danny McCoy.

A source reported by People.com said: "Fergie called a lot of her girlfriends…to tell them the news.
"She said they don't know what kind of wedding they want yet, but that she is the happiest girl on earth."

Fergie's agent has yet to confirm the engagement.

Mia Tyler, daughter of Aerosmith lead singer, Steven Tyler, has also announced her engagement to guitarist Brian Harrah this year, according to People.com, and is hoping to marry next autumn. Tyler was previously married to Papa Roach drummer Dave Buckner.
