UK ok for honeymoons, but isn't abroad better?
The UK is a great place for a honeymoon, according to one website.Although Britain may not have the hottest climate, the most stunning beaches or the most exotic culture, people enjoy having their honeymoons at home.
A website dedicated to weddings, hitched.co.uk, has highlighted that fact that work commitments and money concerns might restrict people's options.
Country spas across the UK may be a good option, or going to enjoy romantic locations like the Lake District or the Cotswolds may be a good option for people in these circumstances, hitched.co.uk said.
Francesca Moore, spokesperson for the website, said: "There's nothing about the word honeymoon that means it has to be taken abroad."
She may be right in this assertion; however, people wanting to celebrate the most special occasion of their lives may wish to splash out on a honeymoon or even wedding abroad to create memories that will last the rest of their married life.
If in financial difficulty people may choose to take out a loan in order to boost their finances to make sure this can be achieved, according to one bank.
Alliance and Leicester advised people in the UK recently that they should take out a personal loan in order to get away on holiday, which they can then pay back in manageable monthly payments.
