Holidays with Jamie most desired

UK holidaymakers would most like to have Jamie Oliver join them on holiday, according to a new poll.

Takethefamily conducted research into which celebrity UK families would be most happy to go on holiday with and the TV chef came top of the list with 67 per cent of the vote.

Among the other stars were the Beckhams with 15 per cent and Madonna and the Richies with ten per cent.

Least likely to be packing their bags to accompany Britons on holiday are politicians, which may not be surprising. Gordon Brown came last in the poll, receiving only one per cent of the vote, while only seven per cent of people would like to travel with Conservative leader David Cameron.

Lucy Ace, Takethefamily managing director, said: "More and more families are getting together to holiday in larger groups.

"It lets you hire a bigger villa and means your kids have other children to play with. So we thought it would be fun to see who would be the ultimate family to join on holiday."

The Beckhams have been spotted on numerous luxury holidays, including a family holiday to Marbella in recent years.
