All-inclusive 'best for budgeting Brits'

All-inclusive 'best for budgeting Brits' If you are one of the thousands of Brits looking for the most exotic holiday affordable on a low budget this year, you may be well-advised to take the all-inclusive option.

This is according to a spokesperson from the Association of British Travel Agents (Abta), who said that they could be a beneficial option for those who wish to keep a close eye on their finances.

Frances Tuke said that today's all-inclusive packages do not necessarily conform to the stereotype of cheap and cheerful holidays in popular locations, but could allow people to explore the more distant corners of the globe, even allowing holidaymakers to "do the Caribbean" without having to worry about shelling out on hidden costs at the destination.

"It's not that they are cheaper, but the thing about all-inclusive packages is that you can budget totally upfront so you know exactly what you are paying for and all your essentials are covered in the upfront price," she said.

According to recent research conducted by Halifax Travel Insurance, 2.5 million Britons take a package location to a luxury holiday destination every year, but only spend an average of seven hours away from their hotel, choosing instead to lounge by the hotel pool or bar.
