Shocking approach to health revealed by website's research

Shocking approach to health revealed by website's research A survey carried out by fashion game and forums site Miss Bimbo has revealed a potentially shocking attitude to healthy eating among young women.

The poll of the website's members found that more than a third of women aged 21 and under believe it is more important to look good than to eat a healthy diet.

In addition, just over a third of respondents reported being on a diet, while 20 per cent said they have tried over three diets in the past year.

Chris Evans, who runs the site, said he believes the forums offer a valuable source of advice for younger women.

"A lot of our younger members come to Miss Bimbo for advice and help from older women, often relating to their bodies and looking good," he commented.

Miss Bimbo was launched in August 2007 and sparked widespread controversy among parents who feared it could send the wrong message about eating disorders and plastic surgery to young girls.

In related news, R&B singer Rihanna revealed to Fabulous this week that she sometimes only eats once a day in order to maintain her size six to eight frame.

She added that she sees carbs as the enemy, despite feeling weak after skipping them.
