Stilettos 'make women feel sexy'

Ladies are attracted to stiletto shoes because they make them feel sexy, a fashion writer for the Times has claimed.

Often giving the wearer the illusion of having a longer, slimmer leg as well as greater overall height, stilettos shoes make women appear more sexy.

Stiletto shoes gained widespread popularity in the 1950s, while the Sex and the City generation has fallen in love with the Manolo Blahnik version of the classic design with many girls reluctant to part with their beloved ladies shoes.

"In one scene from the show, Carrie Bradshaw is mugged. Instead of screaming, she begs: 'You can take my Fendi Baguette, you can take my ring and my watch, but don't take my Manolo Blahniks,'" recalls the Times.
