Scary clothes to hit stores soon

Scary clothes to hit stores soon Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is to launch her own range of clothing, it has been revealed.

According to Hello magazine, the range, entitled Catty Couture, will give ordinary girls a chance to copy Scary's style when it arrives at retail outlets soon.

The singer, famed for her leopard print attire and forthright attitude during the late 1990s, had worked on the range in secret following the end of the Spice Girls world tour earlier this year, in which she wore a series of costumes by Roberto Cavalli.

It is said to feature tops, coats and skirts, along with plenty of animal-print for the "girl-about-town", reports Hello.

Brown follows in the Louboutin-clad footsteps of her bandmate Victoria Beckham, whose line of clothing named DVB mainly features designer jeans as worn recently by Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria-Parker.

The news follows an announcement yesterday that Brown will become the new face of lingerie company Ultimo, taking over from Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, in a £500,000 deal, according to the Sun.

Brown is currently Access Hollywood's Dancing with the Stars correspondent, as well as working on a solo album and a new US cable show called The Singing Office, according to Entertainment Wise.
