Victoria Beckham 'angelic' in Manchester

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham appeared at her perfume launch in Manchester today (August 29th) looking whiter-than-white.

Back in the country from her new home in LA, she launched the Signature fragrances - for him and her - in a white dress designed to look like it had angel wings from the front.

She walked the purple carpet in silver strappy sandals and signed some bottles of the perfume for lucky fans.

The mother-of-three had also enjoyed cocktails at the city's trendy Ithaca restaurant the night before, where she looked stylish is a black evening catsuit and enormous diamond ear-rings.

Beckham also revealed that it had been her idea to hold the launch in Manchester as opposed to London.

"It was meant to be in London but I said no. I said please can I go to Manchester instead? I love Manchester, it's got a really good feel to it. I'm really excited about coming back because, of course, it's where I met David," she told the Manchester Evening News.

The former Spice Girl is to promote her own dVb collection at New York Fashion Week in September, it has emerged.

Her friend Katie Holmes will also launch a clothing range at the event, designed with stylist Jeanne Yang.
