Heels boost Posh's brainpower

Victoria Beckham, the queen bee of towering designer shoes, has revealed on an interview for GMTV why she is never pictured in flatties - it's because she can't concentrate.

The former Spice Girl, who is a tiny 5'4" tall, said that the heels increase her height as well as her mental abilities.

She also said that she would frequent the gym more often if it wasn't for the fact that she would have to wear trainers.

However, it has been widely reported that Posh has to suffer to live up to her pseudonym - she was pictured at the last World Cup tournament with enormous bunions, with doctors allegedly telling her to stick to lower heels.

Beckham also took the opportunity to explain her pouty expression and reluctance to smile for photographers, saying that it is down to the structure of her face.

"When I see pictures I do sometimes think 'You miserable cow!' But I think it's just the way my face falls. If people like the way I look then great and if they don't then fine," she said.

She is currently in London to promote her DVB jeans brand, where she was again pictured tottering in stilettos; this time sporting a purple pair to match her 60s-style dress.
