Diamonds are forever for Daniel Craig

James Bond star Daniel Craig may be planning a wedding to his long-term girlfriend, it has been revealed.

Craig met Satsuki Mitchell in 2005 and the pair are expected to tie the knot after Craig finishes filming the latest Bond film Quantum of Solace, according to the Sun.

It is rumoured that the film producer is showing off a glittering Cartier diamond solitaire ring with a platinum setting to mark the engagement.

An undisclosed source told the newspaper that the wedding will be small, however.

"Daniel and Satsuki are now stronger than ever. They want an intimate ceremony," the source said.

Quantum of Solace, the 22nd film in the Bond series, is set to contain twice as much action as Craig's first outing as Bond in Casino Royale, according to the film's producer Michael Wilson.

The secret agent is expected to be looking for revenge after the woman he loved - Vesper Lynd played by Eva Green - was killed in Venice in the previous film.
