Bullock continues to film 'despite crash'
Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock will continue filming her new movie, The Proposal, despite having a car crash on Saturday (April 19th) in Gloucester. The crash took place on Saturday evening when an alleged 'drunken driver' hit the American actresses' SUV head-on. The actress had been shooting in Rockland just hours before the accident took place.
Lucile Gatchell, 64, will be arraigned tomorrow (April 22nd) after being accused of driving her station wagon while under the influence of alcohol and causing the accident.
Bullock's husband, Jesse James, was also in the vehicle when the crash took place, but the two are thought to be okay following their ordeal.
Scott Levine, a spokersperson for Bullock's new film, said: "She hasn't been hurt so there's no reason why they wouldn't [continue filming]," according to the Boston Herald.
Ms Bullock was born in Arlington County Virginia and came to fame in the 1990s. Her first leading role was in 1993 when she featured in Demolition Man starring alongside Sylvester Stallone.
She was then catapulted to fame in films such as Speed and While You Were Sleeping and is currently listed as the 14th richest female celebrity, with an estimated fortune of $85 million (£42.8 million).
