BB8 Chanelle 'Britain's least talented celebrity'

A survey of over 1,000 people by pizza delivery company Domino's has voted Big Brother 8 contestant Chanelle Hayes the least talented person in Britain.

In case the memory of Hayes has clouded, she was the one who wanted to look like Posh Spice and who is now promoting the release of her single I Want It.

Posh, aka Victoria Beckham, joins her on the list, along with Kerry Katona, Calum Best and, interestingly, Gordon Brown.

Meanwhile, David Beckham made it onto the most talented list with the likes of Leona Lewis and Gordon Ramsay. The register was topped by Harry Potter author JK Rowling.

The research also discovered that four in five of those surveyed now refuse to buy a magazine with what they perceive to be a talentless celebrity on the cover and almost half say they are sick of reality television contestants.

Wags and sellers of kiss-and-tell stories also got a raw deal in the poll.

Hannah Fernando, editor of Heat magazine, said that people are now welcoming programmes such as Britain's Got Talent and I'd Do Anything.

"Another reality format is surfacing and we are embracing people who have a real talent that they wouldn't necessarily have the opportunity to showcase," she said.

The poll follows a US survey from last month, which voted Paris Hilton as the most overexposed celebrity in America, according to Forbes magazine.
