Bag a Spice-y bargain from Mel B

Bag a Spice-y bargain from Mel B Former Spice Girl Mel B has announced that she will auction off the entire contents of her old house in Leeds after a move to LA.

Scary Spice will offer up everything to willing bidders in order to raise money for charity - and perhaps to avoid her having to ship all her old clutter across the pond too.

Some of the items are from her pop star heyday, with items including the outfits she wore while meeting Prince Charles and Nelson Mandela, as well as her signature leopard print catsuits and the coat from the Stop video.

There is also an array of other clothing and furniture, including a toaster complete with bread.

For those who are feeling a little more wealthy, a Bechstein baby grand piano is up for grabs too.

All proceeds will go towards Clic Sargent, a charity that supports young children and families who have been affected by cancer.

Mel said this was a cause particularly close to her heart as a mother.

"Every single one of these items has a personal value to me and I have no doubt that there will be something in the auction for everyone out there. I hope that people have fun bidding on a piece of me," she added.

Scary is not the only Spice to have held such an event for charity - in May, Victoria Beckham auctioned off the Roberto Cavalli outfits she wore during the band's comeback tour to raise money for her children's charity.
