Baby shower for McConaughey

Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey is reportedly being showered with clothes for his unborn baby by loving fans.

McConaughey, whose girlfriend Camila Alves is six months pregnant, says that he has received enough clothes to fill a wardrobe for the child, whose sex is unknown.

He told Bang Showbiz of his surprise at the steady stream of parcels.

"It's amazing how many people are sending us baby clothes and things. They are really gathering. It just keeps on coming," he said, according to the entertainment website.

It has been reported that the 38-year-old actor is being pestered by his mother as to when he will marry Alves, 24, but he has insisted that he has no plans to do so, reports the Daily Record.

It will be the star's first child and appears to show that he is ready to settle down after having dated a string of high profile actresses such as Sandra Bullock, Penelope Cruz and Ashley Judd.

He also joked that he fancies his chances of winning back his title of World's Sexiest Man, for which he was crowned by People magazine in 2005.

McConaughey can currently be seen in new film Fool's Gold, in which he stars with Kate Hudson.
