A black wedding for Kate Moss?

Never one to conform to tradition, it seems that Kate Moss's forthcoming nuptials will be as edgy as the model herself.

It has been reported that Moss, 34, wants to have a gothic-themed wedding, complete with a dark-coloured gown and rock and roll emblems.

"Kate has asked a designer friend to come up with ideas for her dress. The full-skirted gown would be either in purple or black and have vintage rock 'n' roll charms as the trimming," said an unnamed source.

The Croydon-born supermodel is believed to be tying the knot with fiance Jamie Hince in September after announcing their engagement earlier this year.

It has also been alleged that the couple have booked a former power station for the venue, although this has not been confirmed by either party.

However, a source did say that the reception is already booked and that it will be "the big event for all their friends".

Moss may want to team up with fashion designer Stella McCartney if she wishes to have a wedding gown with an edge - yesterday (May 8th) it was reported that she has laughingly expressed a desire to design a "dodgy latex" dress for newly-engaged Scarlett Johansson.
