Geri Halliwell squeezes back into Girl Power dress

It’s a dress that has gone down in history, fondly remembered now by those who were most likely teenagers when it first made its appearance at the BRIT Awards in 1997.

Yes, you’ve guessed it; we can only be talking about Geri Halliwell’s famous Union Jack number which she has now sportingly squeezed back into as part of the launch of her new summer 2012 collection for the high street fashion outlet, Next. 

Fittingly, 39-year-old Geri’s new Union Jack collection arrives almost 15 years to the day since her earth shattering performance in the dress in question at the BRIT’s alongside her Spice Girls comrades.

To be fair, most would agree that Geri has pulled it off once again and has shown that despite the passage of time, she has lost known of her power to attract, well, apart from the time she pursued an ill-advised skeletal dieting plan.

Geri’s collection goes on sale next month and no doubt Union Jack dress sales will be correspondingly high.
