Why the Ugg boots just won't go away

Fashion pundits who predicted the death of the Ugg boot last year have been proved just so wrong! Still the hottest thing on two feet, Uggs are being seen worn by all the hot celebrities! Trendsetter Kate Moss is rarely out of hers – she is regularly photographed in her skinny skinny jeans tucked into grey short Uggs or a micro mini with opaque tights and tall chestnut Uggs. Anna Friel was spotted last week looking oh-so-chic in a mini leopard print dress, black opaque tights and chestnut Uggs. Sadie Frost and Sienna Miller are also known fans – and who can blame them when the temperature hits zero as we have seen this week – after all, they are the cosiest form of footwear imaginable. But it is not just the chilly streets of London where Uggs are being worn. Hollywood celebrities are also regularly out and about sporting the latest styles and Sarah Jessica Parker is pounding the pavements of New York in short chocolate Uggs!

If you still haven't succumbed to a pair, do try them. Winter colours available are black, chocolate, grey and chestnut and they come in several different lengths. There are also various pastel shades on offer if you want something a little lighter. If the classic sheepskin style isn't for you, try the new Ugg Locarno, retailing at around £200 – it is a rustic leather boots with the traditional sheepskin lining.

Three cheers for a fashion trend that doesn't necessitate sacrificing style for comfort!
